 9.15 - 10.00 Math workshop for parents in Everest  classroom

 Come along and see our calculation policy in action. Ideal for parents/carers who are mystified by their child’s maths.

10.00 - 10.45 English - Minilayas  

Greek Mythology – Heroes and Villains which one are you going to choose?

11.00-12.00 Talk for Writing Workshop all years - Alps classroom

Presented by Mrs Allen our Literacy Co-ordinator.

Talk for Writing was developed by Pie Corbett and Julia Strong and is based on the principles of how children learn. It is powerful because it enables children to imitate the language they need for a particular topic orally before reading and analysing it and then writing their own version. All parents and carers welcome.

11.00-12.00 Writing - Atlas

Join Atlas in their creative writing workshop.

1.20 - 2.20 Musical Jam session - Hall

Join Anthony Noel & his pupils and try your hand at the Ukulele, Piano, Guitar or Violin.

Your hidden musical talents will surely surface under the guidance of our able pupils.

1.30 - 2.15 Minecraft workshop ICT Suite Year 5

If Minecraft is a mystery to you then come along and let our experts demystify the inner workings of creative and survival mode!

1.30-3.00 Gardening with Rockies and Elgon

1.30 - 3.00 Graffiti Art – Minilayas

Join our Year 5’s and create your very own tag.

1.30 – 2.15 Tri-Golf -Year 3 Sports Field

2.15-3.00 Tri-Golf - Year 5 Sports Field 

Birdie or Eagle? Are you the next Golf Master– give it a try with our new Tri– Golf kit.


2.45 - 3.15 Country Dancing Hall

Can you keep up with our talented country dancers?

2.20 - 3.00 Poetry Slam - Yr3—ICT suite

Release the inner poet! Four of our Year 6 wordsmiths join Year 3 in creating a river of words for the brooks and streams around our school.

Join the freaky fun and see if you can be the ghouliest ghost or the wickedest witch in our Costume competition.

Costumes to be worn to school Prizes will be awarded for the best in each year group and one for staff too!

Parents are invited to view all the children’s Project Homework on

9am to 10.30 am in the School Hall.

  Note: can all topic homework be returned to school by Wednesday 18th October.


Parent Coffee/Training Morning

At the same time Alison Allen (Deputy Headteacher) will be hosting her termly coffee/training morning on Accelerated Reader and Grammar


9 am until 10 am

We will be holding our annual Harvest Service on 

Friday 13th October at

  9.05 am

All members of the family are invited to join us. Donations of tins, packed produce, fruit or vegetables would be much appreciated.

  The donations are distributed to the needy in Wells.
