Teaching Assistant with significant HLTA responsibilities

Permanent contract 5 days a week term time only starting Monday 15^th April 2024

Teaching Assistant – Grade 15 Point 4 - £11.98 per hour 10 hours a week

HLTA – Grade 12 Point 14 - £14.16 per hour 16.5 hours a week

The role is to work as a classroom teaching assistant with a significant HLTA role alongside this. 

You will be HLTA cover for one day a week and will also cover PPA.

The post requires a talented, creative person who is flexible, enthusiastic and most importantly passionate about supporting our children to become independent and resilient young people.

You will join a highly committed team who have diverse skills and strengths and we are seeking someone who can further extend that skill base.

The ideal candidate for this teaching post will have

·        HLTA qualification and mathematics and English at GCSE level.

·        A commitment to the school’s Christian values and ethos

·        Excellent behaviour management skills

·        Experience of planning and delivering lessons for groups of children as well as whole class.

·        A high level of interpersonal skills, the ability to rise to challenges and to work within diverse teams.
